I'd recommend this pack for people who like to play multiplayer. It adds a bunch of good (balanced yet effective) but cost efficient units. In all honesty, you're not going to really see much of these units in singleplayer though since they're capped at one in terms of how many you can recruit and in many cases are recruited from specific regions. Overall though, this is a good DLC pack. Edit: I'd also like to take this moment to call Valve Corp. out on its recent anti-consumer practice of subtly hiding negative reviews. This is an alsoulute must-have for multiplayer, adds 3 dlc line to the Americans faction the 1st MD(extremely awesome), 1st DE, and 2nd NY. You are also getting three American cav units lee's Legion, the 2nd cont, and Pulaski's Legion, that being said lee's Legion is not worth the extra money, and Pulaski's legion its meh, I don't have it in any of my armies. For Britain you recieve 2 DLC line (33rd Foot, Kings German Legion), which are helpful, on the downside you have useless DLC grenadiers and overpriced Dragoon units to boot. On the Light infantry Spectrum you have a 90 range DLC unit for Britain, fyi its useless, as for Morgans this unit is a beast and is a must have. Thx for reading :)

The eighteenth century being a time of standardization and mass production also leads to it being a time of soldiers all looking the same. There is a certain appeal to that clean and efficient look, but it also gets boring. All of these units are just higher stats and a different look - not really any unique mechanics, but they make the game look more interesting. Only the British and Americans really get anything from this and many of these are region specific which make them pretty interesting to have (although harder to replenish).
