How can anything related to Resident Evil 4 be bad? As expected, the Separate Ways DLC remake was an absolute banger, just like the base game. I was really hoping Pesanta would make an appearance since he wasn't in the main story, and he actually did! The laser room sequence was so cool just as iconic as the original. The only thing that I missed in the dlc was krauser vs ada sequence that would have been cherry on the top for concluding the game with 2 epic final battles(krauser and saddler). This DLC was pure fun to play, and I highly recommend that anyone buying RE4 gets the Gold Edition just for this gem. To top it off, this entire game will hold a special place in my heart for the rest of my life. 😍

I think that we all know Resident Evil 4 since it has been released long time ago, if not, then let me tell you that this is one might be the best game of the franchise and this version is a must have. The game has good graphics, even better now with the remake edition, it look realy clean and run smooth. The main story is quite long and you could easily caught yourself thinking that your a close to the end and that the next boss will be the last one, just before you realise that there is another chapter and stage to explore, with all the mysteries and challenge that go with it. There are plenty of puzzle well balanced with action, not to forget the touch of humor and the variety of bonus modes and bonus weapons to unlock. There is a good replayability to the game, you can decide to play and replay the bonus modes and the main game again in a different difficulty or simply go for a new turn with your actual save and loadout to test your newly unlocked weapons and costumes, to inscribe your name in the ranking or maybe because you want to beat a personnal challenge. If you grab all the items and tresures it will take 15-20 hours to complete it the first time on normal mode. Then you will unlock Professional difficulty and the following bonus modes: Separate Ways, Ada Assignment and Mercenaries, all those modes will increase the duration of the game of few hours, with the purpose to unlock more costumes and weapons to use in the main game and give the game a fresh breath and an even better replayability. Now, it took me more than 80 hours to clean almost all achievments, and every instant was pure pleasure, i love this game so much, to me, it is the best of the series, and this version do him honors.

Separate Ways is a good addition to the story of RE4R and extends it seamlessly. The gameplay is mainly the same except for some gadgets that are tied to Ada and help you get around. This makes Ada feel more agile than Leon and helps to differentiate the two. The DLC plays separately to the main story and extends it around Adas site of the story which helps in understanding certain mysteries left open during the main story.
