It's got some pretty pictures and some vapid generalization about things, but nothing in-depth. It barely has anything actually related to the gameplay itself. It reads more like a travel brochure. It isn't really offering anything particularly helpful for a complete newbie either as it just blathers around enticing sand beaches and describes local flora. There is nothing of real value in this PDF file (yes, a PDF!) and I cannot recommend anyone to waste their time with this.

its just not downloading, whenever i am hitting download, its starting the game, there is no answer in you tube or google, had to download from the sea of thieves website, which was really tedious.

All it did was start the game. Couldn't find anything in main menu. It's Rare to not be disappointed anymore.
