It is basically a prologue to The Phantom Pain. It is incredibly short, with only one main mission and a few side missions, but the gameplay is already incredibly fun and gives you a good idea of what to expect from The Phantom Pain. Even though the game was really short, I still had a lot of fun with it and it only made me even more excited to see what The Phantom Pain has to offer.

Great prequel game to number 5. My 2 cents.. Should have used David Hayter the orginal voice actor for this game and then have Kiefer Sutherland as the voice actor for number 5. It would have made some much more sense for the ending of number 5 and bring some more wow factor for us fans.
Absolute classic I would play before phantom pain. You don't have to but you can often get this and phantom pain on sale together. They are companion games with this being a little intro game before phantom pain. And the story is tied together.

If you played and beat phantom pain and absolutely need more phantom pain on one singular but but large map... Go for it. Otherwise just buy and play Phantom pain. 10-$15
mgsv is bad and this is just a single 2 hour mission and doesnt represent mgsv accurately at all.
The game doesn't tell you any controls and just throws you in and then doesn't explain where I need to go or what I need to do
