As I'm early in story quests, I've gotten stuck due to my Palico absolutely refusing to leave the bed, and getting locked in a story quest that won't let me leave or restart it at all to solve the issue. I can't even remove the Palico bed from my decor because there's no NPC to assist with tent customization, or be able to return to a hub to make that change either, as I'm locked in a story quest that I cannot progress because the Palico loves the bed so much he won't come with me lol. It's a hilarious issue to have, but alas, being stuck in a loop where I can't play the game at all has been horrendous. I've reached out to MH:W support, but have not heard back after being asked to provide more info. Hoping this gets patched or some sort of fix is provided. Until then, this is a big thumbs down game break for me. :( Sad. I just wanted to see my Palico happy. EDIT: After seeing the review Fen left, which mentioned uninstalling the DLC, I managed to FINALLY solve this issue. Uninstalling the DLC is the only way to fix this as of now, as Capcom gave me no answer and instead just kept asking for files. Beware installing this if you have any cutscenes!

We’re now on the eve of Title Update 2, and the shop has bloated to $170+ in paid fluff—and they’ve already teased more. They’re not even pretending to pace it out anymore. The monetization floodgates are wide open, and Capcom is happily scooping money off the floor while the PC version still chokes for a good chunk of players. And please, spare me the “this funds future content” argument. We all know how this game works: the profits don’t trickle down—they rocket upward, straight to the shareholders and C-suite. You’re not supporting developers. You’re underwriting a business model where content is withheld, then sold back to you with a wink and a limited-time bonus emote. Still, all that might be tolerable—if it didn’t come with the insult. Remember housing? Remember the joy of decorating your own cozy space? Gone. Not delayed. Not teased. Just... gone. Why? Because Capcom figured out they can sell you rugs and furniture for tents. They don’t even need a housing system anymore. Why invest in meaningful features when they can toss you overpriced crumbs on a patch of dirt? Your satisfaction doesn’t matter. The integrity of Monster Hunter doesn’t matter. What matters is how efficiently they can skin the loyal fanbase for every last clam. And I paid for it. Disgusting.

All camp gadgets pale in comparison to the small handful that have additional functions
