I really don't understand why people don't like Nuka-World. It is honestly my favorite DLC for any game I've ever played. It's so much fun and has so much variety to it. I loved exploring the theme park and seeing the different themes to it. It had a cult living on the outskirts of the theme park that is inspired by Elron Hubbard, it has a Tarzan-inspired character living with the apes in Safari-land, it has multiple factions that you can join, tons of more quests, great gameplay, interesting characters, ect. I am at a loss to think how they could have made it better. I had so much fun with it. I've watched a few videos on Youtube saying why it's not a good DLC and couldn't have disagreed with them more. Anyway, I say give it a try at least. If you're skeptical, wait for a sale.

I found some quests having points where things felt they were repeating themselves ( like beating the same opponent with high hitpoints over and over again, to clear an area). But I finished this DLC and was happy with it.
If you forget about freeing the slaves, then you have a mod that is very fun and enjoyable because slavery is the solution to all of our problems. We get tons of new weapons and armor from this DLC like the operators rifle, western revolver, Nuka Cola T-51, Quantum X-01, and many more. And the biggest thing this adds to Fallout 4 is the ability to piss off the Minutemen which I think should've been in the base game but whatever. Don't listen to the people saying how bad this DLC is unless they talk about how there is no content if you free the slaves, but overall this place is totally better than Disneyland.

Fallout 4's Nuka-World DLC is one of the most boring expansions I've ever played, legit adds nothing of value to the game, and a waste of money. Get it on sale or move on to better games..
I currently have a character that I've been playing and building up settlements on for over 11 hours on one save. To some that may not be a lot, but it's absolutely the longest I have ever played a saved game or single character in my life. I have been having a ton of fun with settlements and had been putting this DLC off because I think it is long, unrewarding, and all the characters suck. The adventure parks are so unbearably boring I found myself sprinting through the quests and skipping through the dialogue. I hadn't played this DLC since it originally launched back on the PS4, and I never did much with settlements back in the day. (other than crafting benches and a bed) So I was hopeful while playing through this DLC whenever I would run into basic POIs that would be great settlement locations and then being disappointed when they weren't. Then really disappointed that these POIs just look bad for no reason then if not to be later added to by the player. This kept happening so I finally looked it up. One. This DLC has ONE settlement location added to the game. Oh, and what kind of cool Nuka-World inspired settlement location did they come up with? A Red Rocket... in the middle of nowhere... that can be only utilized after killing EVERY single raider, or raiding a Commonwealth settlement... and turning on the power. Far Harbor has at least 3, maybe 4, which I guess was over-preforming? But I was super disappointed when I found that out. I think that the bus stop outside of the gauntlet, the power station, junkyard with the Hubologists and the gunner lookout would all make other great locations for settlements. This simply ruined the playthrough for me as I would either have to suffer the task of killing every raider, burning through my meds and power armor resources, or raid one of my well populated settlements for absolutely no reward (in my opinion, the loot from this DLC sucks aside from the legendary AK you can buy/unlock) and only one ****** settlement location. I immediately left Nuka-World and plan not to come back. TLDR; This dlc is super long and boring. There is only one settlement and its a second Red Rocket. The loot and rewards suck besides the legendary AK. There are no interesting story moments that I can remember after the Gauntlet, because I don't feel like there are any.
The story for this DLC is so bad it's genuinely hilarious. The writing for this game is bad but this is just next level bad. Terrible expansion.
