Similar in goal to Fallout 3's The Pitt DLC in the fact that is has survival horror elements, yet I feel Dead Money nails it and definitely outperforms Fo3's DLCs. And while it was quite controversial for having less RPG elements and being a "slog" at times. I think it aged pretty well and in one of the best DLC questlines in the game purely because of the story and characters. Fallout New Vegas' DLCs are great because they actually tell new stories with minimal rehashing. It is a shining example of what a "DLC Expansion" should be for a game.

👍 Good
Great survival horror premise and gameplay, awesome setting and story with the Sierre Madre and God/Dog, Dean, Christine etc. Every thumbs down is a skill issue.
This slice of the New Vegas world is fantastic. The gameplay is a little tedious, but if you're used to the Resident Evil type of resource management and save smartly, you'll be fine. The companions you get are intriguing. The atmosphere is melancholic. The fact that it's the conclusion of Father Elijah's story after gathering information from Veronica and exploring the Big MT is awesome. I'll glaze this DLC until I die. It may make me cry when I get blown up by my bomb collar or mauled by the ghost people, but it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool.
👎 Bad
I was hyped about the full game and it came to the point where I had to play this DLC. This is the most frustrating, depressing and ugly thing I have ever encountered on the Fallout NV. Unkillable sentries that can shoot you, that beeping collar, the bad map and the ending... If there is a reason why I'm delaying my next FONV gameplay, it is this DLC. F*** Sierra Madre, I'm never going back there.
yeah this dlc is bad and out of all the ones in the game, it is the most skippable, in here you won't be able to use your items/armor/guns that you have from the rest of the game and you'll have to gather your own gear inside it, not only that but once you start it you'll need to go throught it all before going back to the normal world and to top it all off the gameplay is tedious and annoying, very annoying, they tried to make a survival horror like type of experience but it just doesn't work to the way fallout nv behaves
Dead money is the worst, its all just a massive labyrinth that is just annoying to go thru. Plus the entire story and game play is just ''go to A then after that go to B then go back to A'' and this system sucks plus the loot is very bad compared to the other DLC's. Plus the radios isn't a fun mechanic like the devs thought its just genuinely annoying to try to find where the radio is or how to disable it.
