I liked this DLC a lot. It felt like the longest DLC to get through but not in a bad way. This is a lot of people's favorite DLC for New Vegas and it would be mine too if it wasn't for the introduction taking LITERALLY 30 MINUTES of dialogue. 10/10 great DLC

👍 Good
Old World Blues is definitely has the funniest writing in the game, and it feels like a silly filler episode to lighten things up a bit. The humor does have that Rick and Morty feel to it, even though this preceeded it by a few years, but I think the sarcastic "science-talk" humor is mostly done well here, with how the scientist clankers call you a "Lobotomite" and they treat you like an alien. Dr. Mobius is such a hammy villain, and I love him because of that. The cartoony evil scientist voice is so funny that even in the more frustrating moments, I found myself laughing it off. That said, the enemies here are rather annoying to deal with, especially the Robo-Scorpions and the Berserk Securitrons, and the area isn't super interesting, but it's a solid area overall. Definitely the most interesting DLC area. But hey, you can flirt with a light switch and your own brain. That's so absurd, it's hilarious!
THE LOBOTOMITE RETURNS. This was the DLC I was looking forward to the most, and with good reason. It's mix of horror and humour (apparently called "fridge" humour) is uniquely Fallout, the sci-fi cheese of the Big Mountain masking the horrors that lie in The Big Empty. The horror even ranges from the existential horror of being Muggy to the trauma harnesses and their eventual implementation in the Sierra Madre. The writing is also brilliant, having depth no matter where you look, down to the names of the main antagonists. It's no surprise this is currently my favourite embodiment of Fallout's main message, atleast until I play Lonesome road. It's not perfect of course. The actual DLC is much shorter than the other ones, given the sheer range of optional content. This reduces how fetchquesty it feels, but doesn't remove the feeling entirely, specially with The Sink personalities. In addition to the roboscorpions being annoying (excepting the final boss, which I cheesed), the DLC is also very good at making you feel uncomfortable. Whether that's a plus or not, I'll leave up to you. So yeah, out of all of the DLCs this is probably the one I'd most reccomend. Keep in mind, it is also difficult, those Nightstalkers beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of my poor Tesla armour.
👎 Bad
I hate this dlc, after i collected all the equipment i cant even teleport without the game kicking me out. Like bro, this dlc is already boring asf and now you wont even let me finish this?
Not only do they lobotomize you and view you as some sort of exotic piece of meat, they do so by yapping more than the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ european parliament session through out the duration of the """story""". I have never seen such blatant technophile propaganda. Revolting. TCD NOW.
